This Hustler 30 is a very well equipped yacht with updates including an AIS transponder. She works as a great coastal and channel cruiser and my first sail in her was from Plymouth to Brighton and she impressed us with her performance. For the 2023 season all the standing rigging was renewed. She has a new Z Spars boom as the original one would not cope with a modern fixed kicker. A week after launch on our way from Gosport to Cowes for the jog Nab Tower Race she went to windward in F8-9 with gusts of 50knts. In May 2023 we sailed the Royal Escape Race from Brighton to Fecamp with winds gusting to 30 kn taking 10 1/2 hours (see video). This oat was used nearly every weekend last year which enabled me to eliminate all the small issues which can be annoying. I am fond of this boat but, to be honest, she is not really suitable for IRC racing and hence I am putting her up for sale as I do not have the time to cruise her in the way she deserves.

This yacht had an internal refit in 2023 which included new berth cautions, upholstery and curtains. She sleeps four with a large double in the fourpeak. One saloon berth and a quarterberth. There is a chart table and a removable saloon table which opens up. The heads are situated between the fourpeak and the main saloon with a hanging locker opposite. She is fitted with an Airtronic diesel heater, this has not been used for a considerable time, however, I managed to get it working but it will need servicing.
The galley has a Neptune 4500 cooker fed from a self draining LPG locker situated in a cockpit locker. There is a gas alarm fitted.
Freshwater is stored in a 140litre tank with a single tap over the galley sink, is another tap situated over the sink in the heads. The heads have recently been serviced.
The yacht is constructed of GRP, she is a well-built heavy displacement yacht. She has a survey dated 7 July 2022 with the overall conclusion that the hull and deck structure is sound and the yacht appeared to be well maintained. The previous owner and myself confine no evidence of osmosis.
